Who are we? 

I’m Simon, the owner of FPL Connect. I run the website and I run the Twitter account.

I’m a down-to-earth bloke who has a real passion for football and FPL, and wanted to create a living for myself doing the thing I love – don’t we all?

So I got together a team that comprises an investor, a web developer and some social media guru’s, as well as writers (of course) to form FPL Connect – a blog site dedicated to bringing high quality tips, stats and insight to FPL enthusiasts.

Why start the blog?  

We’re in the process of working to create and build an additional website dedicated to Fantasy Premier League enthusiasts, that will be fully launched for the 2019/20 season, with the BETA version to launch December 1st 2018.

It will incorporate the current blogsite, but will mainly be an interactive website with exciting features – the details of which will be divulged in due course.

We believe we’ve spotted a problem when playing FPL and we think we can not only solve that problem, but enhance the overall experience of playing Fantasy Premier League.

So our thought then, rather than wait and waste time for a year, was to use the revelation that is WordPress, to hit the various FPL communities with our content and see if lovers of the game found it useful and insightful.

We’ve had a fantastic response so far and have been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received.
